ENJOY THE KAR "O - CLUB"!!!

Some WWII Era Media, just for fun....C'mon, relax a few minutes at the Keystone "O Club"  and enjoy some good old fashioned entertainment...We have Banned Wartime Cartoons, Wartme Radio and propaganda broadcasts, and jive music that'll make you want to cut a rug at 10 cents a dance!

Why would a cartoon be banned?...Watch 'em, you'll know why.   Please Remember they were made in the 1940's, and we were at War with Germany Italy and Japan!   Pearl Harbor was still fresh in our minds and hearts. Take them in the Historical context with which they are presented.  A wonderful window into the home front of WWII, and loaded with period references.

Click the Stooges for a famous and classic Three  Stooges  Short.

"You Natzy Spy" released 1940,  has some historical significance.

It predates both Charlie Chaplins portrayal of Hitler in the "Great

Dictator", and the U.S. entry into World War II.   It was also the

first characterization of Hitler on Film.  After viewing a smuggled

copy, the Fuhrer himself vowed, that after the War was won, the

Stooges, and the Producers of this film short would be liquidated.

This Short was Moe Howards Favorite.
