EBAY F.A.Q.'s
QUESTIONS:
1. Will you accept a Check or Money Order?
2. Will you ship internationally?
3. Why are your AD's frequently pulled?
4. Why is an item listed on Ebay more expensive than
your web-site price?
5. You have a gun listed on ebay as a replica, but on
the website it's listed as a Bank Firing Gun...Is the
gun for sale on ebay defective?
6. With all the difficulties advertising replica guns face
on ebay, why do you still advertise your products
there?
Answers:
1. YES WE CAN.
Ebay forbids the advertisement of any form of
payment other than Paypal. Paypal is fast and
secure for the buyer, but paypal is an ebay co.
and they get a commission for every payment.
We are very flexible, and accept every form of
payment except Western Union. NEVER pay
anyone with Western Union. You can buy an item
on ebay, and pay however you like. We can't
advertise alternative methods of payment.
2. Yes. Ebay forbids the listing of international
shipping for replica weapons. Ebay does not
want to assume liability for shipping a restricted
item to a country that forbids these. Understandable,
neither do we. We will ship anywhere on the globe
unless we know the location is an illegal destination.
So, you can purchase outside the US, and we will
ship to you, just make sure the item is legal where
you are. For example, we can't/wont ship Modern
Weapons to Canada.
3. Sigh....Our ads are frequently pulled because ebay
has hired a third party to police and censor their ads.
The third party censors are looking for replica guns
without plugs, and other violations, fake Gucci hand-
bags, Tiffany Silver, and Knockoff clothing. Here's
the problem. The censors are untrained overworked
and underpaid. They generally are not experts in the
field they are covering. These censors have quotas.
These quota's help show ebay that the censors are
doing the job ebay is paying them for. They carefully
avoid the question of "Quotas", but this exacerbates
an already bad situation.
4. Well, sometimes it's an accident, and sometimes it's
because we need to compensate for high ebay
commissions. A 350.00 dollar rifle for example
would have a 39.00 commission for ebay. Always
check the website first for the best price.
5. NO. We don't sell seconds, or defective guns. Ebay
has a host of regulations regarding the listing of any-
thing that even looks like a gun. One of the regs is
that you can list a blank gun, but you can't list it as
such. You can only call it a replica.....I am not sure
as to why that is, but I guess it's another liability
issue.
6. We ask ourselves that same question frequently.
However, we maintain a small ebay presence for
our customers. We have some customers who simply
prefer the ebay buying experience.
